Here at ASET Partners we are looking for a highly skilled, exceptionally motivated Data Integrator or Analyst to bring onto our team to work alongside with and help support the DoD in either MS2, Bolling Air Force Base, Reston VA or Quantico VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and integrate recommender service technology for use within the DIA Information Technology environment in order to increase the efficiency of intelligence analysts accessing and evaluating large amounts of content
  • Coordinate with academia and the National Labs to evaluate and evolve recommender technologies for use within PIA's environment
  • The state of the outcome of the research needs to be evaluated for maturity with respect to readiness for operational use in general and applicability to PIA's data and technology environment specifically
  • Integrate a recommender technology  service  into  PIA  analysts'  technical   environment delivering an efficiency to analytical processes by automatically identifying those items that are likely to be of highest value for each individual analyst
  • Integration will involve combination of software procurement, software engineering, and/or technology integration
  • Involve analysts throughout the process to ensure that the design and implementation meets the needs of the users
  • Deliver data environment that enables the integration of data sources such that advanced analytic algorithms can be applied and yield analytic results supporting visualizations to inform senior level decision makers and line level analyst
  • Perform security integration, auditing and monitoring in accordance with DIA standard and processes to include accurate reporting procedures for internal use software expenditures
  • Technical subject matter expertise in software coding and unit level testing, including but not limited to Java, python, and Ruby, R
  • Perform data analysis against DIA's data holdings implementing industry best-practices such as data mining, predictive analytics, text analytics, or other techniques as appropriate
  • Provide support for the "data retrograde" tool that provides a solution to sort out relevant documents from a larger data set and operate, maintain, and update a machine learning data model, rules engine, and workflow within the web application that allows a user to curate documents against a binary decision
  • Provide SMEs experience in Cloud Technologies, AWS/C2S, containers, data layers, micro-services, System Administration, and SQL/NSQL database experience

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent training
  • Must have at least 7 years of specialized experience in software engineering
  • Performs software requirements analysis, system integration activities, leads research, designs, develops and tests software and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems or embedded products
  • Performs technical planning, verification and validation of others work, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
  • Performs analysis for all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, architecture, user experience, test, installation, operation, maintenance
  • Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the development of complex solutions
