ASET Partners is building a next-generation data analytics platform that supports the Department of Homeland Security's mission to safeguard national critical infrastructure. As a mid-level software engineer, you'll join a small team that's dedicated to designing cloud-native software and writing production-grade code that's testable and maintainable. 

We're looking for talented engineers with proficiency in Python and Go that are intimately familiar with modern cloud-native software design and are passionate about writing testable, maintainable, and clean code.

What you'll do:

* Work both independently and with the software team build features and fix issues in existing software

* Write tests and clean and maintainable code

* Follow modern test-driven development practices

* Build and deploy container images to our Kubernetes cluster following modern SRE principles

* Actively participate in code reviews

What you'll bring:

* 4+ years developing software in Python, Go, SQL-oriented data store

* Experience with Linux, git, SQL-oriented data stores

* Basic understand of container technology

Nice-to-haves:

* Experience with Django

* Experience building cloud-native software

* Windows Server experience
