Here at ASET Partners we are looking for a highly skilled, exceptionally motivated Network Engineer to bring onto our team to work alongside with and help support the Department of Homeland Security in Rockville, MD.
Responsibilities:- Proven experience in a network Engineering role (7-10 years)
- AWS or equivalent commercial Cloud experience (Minimum 3 years)
- Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching in cloud environments
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
- Experience in Installation and configuration of software and hardware
- Experience in managing network servers and technology tools
- Experience in troubleshooting issues and outages
- Experience in implementing cloud security through access controls and firewalls.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Experience with Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, F5 is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in an IT related field
- DHS suitability will need to be obtained
